Soup and Sweet Lunch for the homeless

‘Many hands make light work’ and this was certainly the case at the Soup and Sweet lunch on 17th January. Thank you to Ann and Dave for obtaining the soup, to Dorothy, Tony and Gordon for ensuring it was delivered piping hot to St Paul’s for 1pm. Thanks to Ann, Jill, Jenny, Dorothy, Sheila and June for providing such eye-catching and calorific desserts.

Thanks to everyone who supported the event, whether they were able to attend or not. Jenny Rogers kindly undertook ticket sales at St Mary’s. In total £216 was raised for Winchester Churches Nightshelter. Finally, thanks to the team who cleared up and cleaned up afterwards. Special thanks to Robert and Jeanette. Heather would have been so pleased with it all.
