Women’s World Day of Prayer

Yes, it’s almost that time of year again… This time our programme has been written by the women of the Philippines and is called ‘Am I being unfair to you?’ We shall think about what life is like there today, the effects of the typhoon which hit the islands in 2013, and the hopes and fears of various generations.

Our prayers will join those of millions of people around the world on 3 March. We shall worship locally and pray together with other denominations in Bishopstoke. Although this event is called ‘Women’s World Day of Prayer’ it is not exclusively for women but just written by the women of The Philippines. Everyone is welcome to attend the service which will be followed by refreshments.
