Café with Clothing Sale
On Saturday 27 April at our next Café @ St Mary’s we will also be running a second-hand clothes sale. You are very welcome to bring your (good quality) used clothes along (children's or adults’). You decide how much to sell them for and 50% goes to church funds, the rest to you. Please bring the clothes from 9.30 am onwards on the day, and money and any unsold clothes may be collected at 12.30 pm. Or just come along for a coffee/tea, a delicious piece of cake and a chat!

Christian Aid Week
This year Christian Aid Week this year runs from 12 – 18 May, and once again we will be organising a house to house collection around Bishopstoke. It would be really good if we could collect from as many roads as possible, and please contact me on 023 8061 7618 if you are able to help with this. Our Café at St Mary’s on 18 May will also be in support of Christian Aid. Many thanks. Jeanette Neale

The Great British Spring Clean
This year we will be taking part in the Great British Spring Clean by doing a litter pick. It will be on Wednesday 10 April, from 10 am – 12 noon, starting at St Paul’s. Bags and gloves will be provided and you can turn up at St Paul’s at any time – where the kettle will also be on! Anyone from our community of any age is very welcome to come and join in and make a difference to our area. (Children need to be accompanied by an adult.) It would be great to see you.

Dear Friends Spring is coming! Isn’t it lovely to see the sunshine? I realise that there is a risk in writing this, as by the time it goes to print there may be a monsoon or even a snow storm. You never know with the British weather. But as I write the sun is shining and all is well with the world. (Well, as long as I don’t turn on the news or look at social media – is Brexit happening? Is the PM still the PM? No, no, I am not going there….) Paul writes in the book of P
