New Bishop of Southampton

On Wednesday 3 July, Deborah Sellin was consecrated bishop at St Paul's Cathedral along with three other women called to serve as Church of England Bishops in other areas of the country. (She is pictured here outside the Cathedral with other senior members of our Diocesan clergy and staff - as well as former Archbishop Rowan Williams!)

On Sunday 14 July at 3.30 pm Bishop Debbie will be installed as Bishop of Southampton and officially welcomed by our Diocese during Choral Evensong at Winchester Cathedral; she will also give the sermon. Anyone is most welcome to attend.
